I first got involved with Wicca 30 years ago. It’s my tricennial! That makes it my pearl anniversary, if you believe the marketing of the jewelry companies.
I don’t have much to add beyond what I posted for my 25th anniversary in the Craft. There are a couple of minor differences: World of Warcraft is no longer part of my life; I’m now Doctor Doctor Doctor Doctor Seligman.
To be sure, there have been new challenges in the past five years. The biggest one is the most obvious: Switching from teaching in-person to teaching via Zoom. Right now I have two students whom I’ve never met face-to-face, and I’m not sure when I will.
I like to think that my commitment to the Craft has not changed. I certainly plan to continue through my coral anniversary and beyond! By then, I will have been Wiccan for more than half my life. I look forward to it.
