Well, I got a bit closer this time.
I unpacked all the seder gear that had been sitting in my closet since last year (and before that had been sitting there since 2003). I actually set up the seder table (which was my gaming table, of course):
I won’t go into the details as I did last year. The short version is that a combination of a Wednesday-night seder and issues involving COVID once again brought the guest list down so much that a seder seemed pointless.
Fortunately, I had not yet done any Passover shopping, apart from some matzoh. Unlike last year, I don’t have to figure out what to do with 30 eggs.
We’ll see what happens in 2024!
