BG3 – A guide to my fanfic

Of all the posts I’ve written that fall into the “This matters only to Bill” category, this one is the most “This matters only to Bill”-est.

Believe me, Withers, this has nothing to do with balance.

My Baldur’s Gate 3 fanfic tends to refer to itself a lot. One story daisy-chains into another. Even I, the guy who wrote them, can lose track.

It’s only been two years for me, Karlach. Who knows what will happen after eight more?

Also, there’s a connection between my BG3 playthroughs and the stories I tell. I wrote a post on the connection between the playthroughs and the fanfic, and a longer essay connecting the fanfic with my virtual photography.

In order to keep track, I’ve created a list of all my fanfic, both prose and pictorial. I’ll update it as I write more.

Halsin is being generous. I’m not sure he’s actually read anything I’ve written, since I rarely mention him.

I’m not so vain as to believe that anyone wants to read all my stories from the beginning. (Well, maybe a little vain… or a whole lot vain…) Just in case there’s a reader out there (probably just me) who wants a reference, the link to the list is in the header menu of this site; it’s at the top of this page if you’re using a large screen, and within a menu icon if you’re using a phone.

You’re right, Astarion. There are spoilers of varying degree in my stories. I give spoiler warnings where appropriate. On the other hand, BG3 has been out for three years. By now, everyone knows your deep, dark secret.

If you choose to read my stories, thanks. I hope my tales bring a little something to your day.

Minthara thanks you as well.
