My thanks! As I half suspected, the entry concerns people who might like to have these details kept private. I’ve therefore hidden the original post.
Now that you’ve given me the key, I’ll have to work my way through 13 pages of the “encrypted” text. *Sigh* I knew this research would be tedious when I started it, but… c’mon, Isaac!
Just finished
I see that people have sent you the completed shorthand of that posted diary page. Interesting stuff.
Would you like my translation or do you have enough?
Thanks,
~RevWade
Re: Just finished
Please send it to me (every bit helps) at bonewits.research of gmail.com.
Re: Just finished
I just sent a confirmation email to make sure it gets to the right place. When you get a chance to confirm I will get it sent out pronto.
Isaac continued…
Also, I know you don’t know me from adam but I would like to help with the rest of the text. I have been staring at this for hours and pretty much have the alphabet matched to his shorthand. And of course, out of respect for a great man, I would keep it between us.
Much thanks,
~RevWade
Congratulations on your success, and your clever use of social capital to solve this problem with help from a trustworthy source.
Wooo hooo!
Also, could you send out a Doodle Poll for the next, and hopefully, final, calendar party?
PS tonight I will reward myself for good work done by watching the final part of “The Three Doctors.”
It’s awful and wonderful in the way that only low-budget British science fiction from the 70s can be. Squee! Thanks for sharing the silliness.
The doodle poll has been sent!
I can recommend other old Doctor Who serials that will fill you in on the key moments of the Doctor’s past. A cool thing about the old serials is that you can take them in half-hour chunks. I like the modern series, but you’re committing yourself to an hour for each one.
