All Stuffed Bear locations in Baldur’s Gate 3

UPDATE 8/20/2026: I have found a couple more stuffed animals, but more importantly, as I have gone through more playthroughs, I have noticed that this list is not always accurate. Some of the bears are always there. Some of them are random loot from one of the characters, but different each time. Some of them is random chance whether you find them or not. In general, I have found that the toys that are just “out” in the world are always there, and the ones that are inside loot or chests are random. I will try to update as I go along, but this is a work in progress.

While exploring BG3, I came several stuffed animals scattered all around the world. Sometimes they were in areas that made sense (in a home with a child) but some of them were weirdly remote, and some were just incredibly sad.

Those cute little details became a bit of an obsession, so over the next few playthroughs, I made a point to find all the stuffed animals in the game that I could. There are the stuffed bears (a couple of different types) and stuffed owlbear toys. For purposes of this list, I am also including the “surprise-based” teddy bears and the “unfinished stuffed bears”, so if you want to be a purist, then subtract those from the list/total.

I am sure this list is not exhaustive, but it is probably the most comprehensive I’ve seen on the internet so far.

I have also found that not all of the bears are consistent. I am not sure some locations change with each playthrough, or if other changes I made in plots and choices affected who was carrying them. Some of them are also only accessible with certain plot choices, so you may not find all of these all in one playthrough.

To start off, there is one stuffed bear that makes the task much easier. One of these stuffed bears is actually a backpack, so I used it to hold all the other stuffed animals! It is located in the swamp near the Riverside Teahouse, on the opposite side of the swamp from the teahouse itself, at the base of the waterfall. You can either get to it by walking through the swamp proper (beware all the traps) or to walk into the swamp from the bloody campsite.

It’s difficult to describe, so here is a picture of its location, along with the coordinates.

It also comes with a really sad note, which was part of the incentive for starting my mad quest of stuffed animal hunting.

 

The other stuffed animals in Act 1:

Stuffed bear – looted from Tracker Worm in the tunnels by the secret entrance to the druid grove (random loot – sometimes on a different goblin, sometimes not at all)

Clive – this is probably the easiest bear for people to find. He’s in Karlach’s tent at camp! Don’t feel bad about borrowing him – she has a backup that she pulls out the next time you guys camp.

Stuffed bear – in the tiefling kids’ hideout, on the far side by the thieves’ stash

Stuffed bear – back office in the Zhentarrim hideout under Waukeen’s Rest

Stuffed bear – in the Festering Cove side area, near where the “message in a bottle is”, out in the open next to the hidden chest

Stuffed bear – located in buried treasure on the far side of the house where you meet Lump the Enlightened

 

Act 2:

Stuffed owlbear toy – house in shadows, where you first meet Oliver

Stuffed bear – in the rafters in the elevator section of the hospital library – be careful not to fall off the beam!

Stuffed bear – in a traveler’s chest in the northeast shadow-cursed lands, near He Who Was, involves jumping up across a chasm onto a ledge, near where that strange light is. There are a couple of skeletons of a family that died there, and the bear is among them.

The grand total at the end was 56 stuffed animals! This includes 7 unfinished bears, 3 surprise based bears, and 6 stuffed owlbear toys, so if you want to be a purist and count just the stuffed bears, then that’s 40. Enough to host a cute little picnic of your own.
