This is a follow-up post to my last one, 67!!, in which I describe a potentially dubious approach I took to rolling a 67 on an Ability Check in Baldur’s Gate 3.

I strongly suggest you read that post before reading this one; otherwise my following remarks may not make sense.

I got a roll of 66 yesterday. It’s potentially “more honest” in that I didn’t farm for it. I got the result by having Astarion continue to pick locks and disarm traps found in the game world, rather than repeatedly disarming the same traps through game saves and restores.

However, I still took advantage of Peerless Skill.

There are still some Sleight-of-Hand checks left in playthrough 12. We’ll see what happens!
