Re-discovering an old love
From the title, you probably think this post is going to be about romance and candlelight and kisses. Nope!

(I suggest you read Parts I and II before reading this post. But you don’t have to. I’m not the boss of you.)
I’m writing this post the next day, after the seder.
It’s the night before the night before Passover, as I discussed in my previous journal post. I’ll spend most of tomorrow preparing the meal, so that I can be ready to actually cook it the following day.
This coming Saturday it will it the 15th of Nisan, 5768. (Can you believe it? I'm still writing 5767 on all my checks.) For those who keep time by the Gregorian calendar, it will be Saturday, April 19. As I'm sure you know, the 15th of Nisan marks the beginning of Passover, the Jewish festival of freedom.…
I spent some time crunching the numbers last night. This has been my worst year as a Tarot reader ever.Don't get me wrong. It's lots of fun. At the NY Ren Faire this year, I picked up a new hobby: sphereplay (google it... it's fun!); working at the Forest of Fear gives me time to practice it.…

It can be quite cold, especially since I used to work full-time outdoors. This year, though, I'll be working in a tent, and I've already…
I just saw the movie "Somewhere in Time" (with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour). I rented it because I'd heard that men cry at the ending. I was curious to see if that was true. Yep, it is. *Sniff*
Today was the final day of the 2006 season for the New York Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo. I do readings at the Faire. As far as money was concerned, it was a "ho-hum" season for me. The weather ruined a few days, and overall fewer people attended than in previous years. Every once in a while, I…
