The scans were performed by a librarian, using a high-end color scanner. If the text is faded or splotchy, that is not the fault of the scanner. Those pages are hard to read, and probably were four decades ago when they were printed.

For better or worse, most of the originals were destroyed during the process of scanning. My apologies to the physical-media archivists. The material was taking up space in my apartment. I had no idea that the originals of four-decade-old amateur publications would be of any value, as opposed to scans of their contents.
