I’m hosting a small gaming party at my place to welcome in the new calendar year.
Nothing fancy, just small games. My collection of easy games includes Cards Against Humanity, Settlers of Catan (plus expansions), Cthulhu Gloom, many flavors of Fluxx, Castle Panic, Ticket to Ride, Tsuro, Zombie Dice. If enough people came, we could even try The Resistance, or Werewolves of Millers Hollow.
This year has been particularly trying for me, both in health and in finance. My personal hope for the coming year is to recover get back to the point I was at the start of this one… except for the weight!
I hope this sets the model for 2013: Keep it light, keep it simple, spend time with friends. Right now, I don’t need more than that.
